T
his shutter card was inspired by a One Minute to Wow video by Mary Fish.
Such an easy way to use up those thin strips of cardstock that we all have!
The Bee Mine DSP and ribbon used on this card will be retiring on 4/30/24 but you can use anything you have on hand.

Instructions:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop the Basic White stock using the Stylish Shapes 1 7/8 stitched square die.
Adhere to the Designer Series Paper layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Placement should be about 1/2" down from top and 1/2" from either side.
Use Paper Snips to snip one of the Lemon Lime Twist strips in half.
Adhere all strips around the stitched square die-cut as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use Paper Snips to snip the edges of the strips flush with the edges of the Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the Designer Series Paper layer to the Lemon Lime Twist layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Stamp your sentiment on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Black Memento Ink. Fussy cut the sentiment (or use a die if there is one)
Adhere the sentiment to the center of the white cardstock using Mini Dimensionals. Stamp the small flower at the bottom of the diamond using Sweet Sorbet ink.
Tie a bow using your ribbon and adhere that to the side of the white diamond using Glue Dots.
Stamp your inside sentiment of choice on the Basic White 4' x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White card stock.
If you have a scrap of DSP available, cut it to size and adhere to the bottom of the Basic White layer. Or stamp any images you desire!
Adhere the Basic White layer to the inside of the card.
Apply adhesive to the outside of the envelope flap. I recommend using liquid glue.
Take the 5 3/4" x 2 1/4" piece of DSP and adhere it to the envelope flap. Trim off excess DSP.
You are finished!
